Hi all great forum by the look of things I am new to Audi after years with bmw and I love the handling and feel of the car  2.0 tdi way more fun to drive for me.

The cars got a bad leak on the hatchback were the waters running under the roof liner and down the panel were the quarter light is on the left I suspect it may be coming in where the brackets for the hatch bolt through the roof

I think the car may have had a wack at the back as the gap between the roof and the boot is nearly 3 times the size of the gap around the rest of the door is this normal I will try post pics tomorrow if that helps

If you can understand any of that and feel you could offer help, advice, counsel a full time office job circa 50k per annum then please don't be shy come and say hi

Welcome to the forum Paul, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

Thanks for your kind words about the forum :)

Generally the panel gap should be even all the way around. Is it wider at one end than the other? Obviously the boot can be adjusted slightly but I'd advise getting it looked at by a body shop.

My other question is whether or not you have the panoramic roof option?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve Q fanx for the rapid reply the car unfortunately is a solid roof and the gap along the roof at the hatchback is at least double the gaps on either side of the hatch all the gaps on the car are even except that one will try the body shop hope they can help because I'm loving everything else

You're welcome :)

Id definitely get it looked at by a body shop. Have you also inspected the rear wash pipe and jets? I can't fully remember where the jet is on the 8v but obviously the pipes can come loose and cause water to enter the car.

Cheers

Steve
