wazcov Posted February 1, 2018 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T 225bhp. Black convertible. £1000 O.N.O. Why so cheap? Well, the car actually runs sweet as anything. I paid a good amount of money a year ago to make sure it does, with new brakes all around, good tyres and well serviced. There are 2 issues. Firstly, the key fob stopped working, so I took the drivers door panel off to see if I could fix it - I couldn't and so I shut the door, and now the lock is now stuck on for that door. Someone mechanically minded I'm sure can work out how to get it open and fix the lock. The other issue is purely cosmetic, which is just one panel near the fuel cap, the lacquer has faded and looks kind of white. A scratch cloth and a tin of lacquer spray would fix that. Other than that, it's a great car and still runs perfectly well. MOT until June/July time with no advisories at the last one. Pick up from Sleaford, Lincolnshire.
