cypher007
if I use a 2.0 TDI for short journeys what sort of options are out there to negate DPF problems? some thoughts are DPF kind remap or removable DPF, replace for MOT.
SteveHills68
I thought i had DPF issues which turned out to be an exhaust sensor (independent specialist found it , main dealer wanted to change DPF). He also told me they can be cleaned rather than replaced. I do motorway miles which means my will not need cleaning for a while however , he said it is quite a simple process. He advised me against a remap/removal.
Steve Q
You should do at least one decent drive one a week to keep the dpf clear. Ie 30mins+ Cheers Steve
