Gearbox problem?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,
This is my first automatic car, so I don’t really know what to expect, but it sounds and feels really rough.
I'm not sure if it’s because I’m used to a smoother ride in the Audi! Feels very rough. Sometimes feels like it slips between gears.
Is this normal? Shouldn’t CVT gearbox be more smooth?

Details of the car: 2012 Audi A7 3.0 TDI (204ps) Sportback Multitronic S Line ; 114566 miles

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I would strongly advise seeing any garage to check where is the problem. Could be expensive if left alone.

Hey mate!

how did you get along? Did you manage to fix that? Seems like I'm having something similar going.

Let me know if you did and where. Thanks,

KJS.

@kjs got it sorted by a garage in Bristol. I think they are called Milta technology. Yes, that's them. Super nice lads, very professional and very nice prices too. Check them out. since got it fixed my car is running like new. Seriously.

On top of that, you get a certificate and warranty.

All right!

Great info, thanks for this @jonir. Will check them out right now.
