My car has come up to its service interval and I have had it serviced at a local garage but they are unable to clear the service reminder light. 

I know that I can clear the light via vcds or carista. So please can you guys advise me the CHEAPEST way of removing it. I'd usually go with carista but don't fancy paying a tenner everytime I want to clear the light. I'd rather pay once even if it is a little bit more. 

Any links to the software would be appreciated.

I found a way in the car menu too

start the car . press menu then car.

go to service & control and service intervals and at the bottom you should find reset oil intervals I think
