I'm trying to fill in the gaps in the history of my C5 RS6.

The supplying dealer was apparently 998.

Audi UK don't know who this is and say they think it was a demo car or purchased on contract.

I know that the first service was at Wayside Audi Milton Keynes - 353.

Does anyone know who 998 is?

Hi Scott, I wouldn't be surprised if the supplying dealer has closed down. I say this as the supplying dealer for my c5 has closed down. 

I wonder if the dealer who did the first service changed franchise but was still the supplying dealer if that makes sense. Might be worth you asking the Milton Keynes dealer if they did change franchise when your car would have been a year old.

Thanks for your reply and thoughts. It does make sense.

I've now emailed Audi UK direct rather than relying on the information that they supplied to me by phone. Hopefully that will provide more clarity. I'm going to go up to the MK dealer for a stamp so as you say they may shed more light.
