New clutch etc 18000 miles on A4 64 plate

Featured Replies

I have only done 18,000 miles and clutch slipping and smelling of burning. Needs new clutch and flywheel etc. Anyone had a problem with this possibly caused by flywheel being faulty.? I am out of warranty by 8 months but after a stressful time with the Audi garage they have said on good will they will stand the price of parts but still costing me just over £1000 for labour. So thought if possibly known by anyone as a fault I could use this as evidence and build my case to not pay labour either. I have had Audi cars nearly all my life - the last one an A3 I had for 13 years and still going and no new clutch needed in that.

thanks - Desperate Sue
