Adaptive Headlamp to halogen

Featured Replies

Hi. I have a 2012 A3 1.4TFSI. It’s a cat C. The head lamps were originally bi xenon and have been replaced with standard halogen. I have warnings coming up on the dash regarding, error on adaptive motor, main beam not working for more than 5 seconds.
What can be done to resolve the problems? Best Regards.

Possibly you need to code with vcds and tell the car it has halogen not xenon , also they may need some rewiring .

The local independent audi/Vw tried coding which I assume is vcds. They went through it with me watching on. .

You can retrofit xenons to halogen a3 so there must be a way to code halogens
