Buying non-OEM Brake Pads & Discs

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. First post here and  I come cap in hand.

I just got a quote from Audi Bexley for brake pads and discs + pads. Horrendous money. I've seen Bosch pads for a fifth of the price, but I'm a total novice in this area, so I want to make sure I get the right ones. Can anyone tell me where I'd find the right part numbers and also, how much are Audi likely to charge to fit them? I'm a bit miffed that they are not covered by the Service & Maintenance plan I pay £75 a month for, but hey ho.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum Mark, unfortunately brakes aren't covered by the maintenance plan.

My advice would be to to take it to an Audi specialist to change the brakes for you.

Cheers

Steve
