Lowering springs

Featured Replies

Hey guys new to the forum, recently bought a a4 sline black edition, lovely car but im looking to lower it a bit more and some spacers, just wondering what springs to go for that will be ok with the standard sline shocks. I have the factory audi 19 inch wheels "not sure what they are called?" What can i get away with without any arch work with lowering + 20 mm spacers say? Thnx

Alright Maz,

Last week I bought a 2012 A4 Avant, S-Line black edition with 19" wheels and suspension factory lowered by 20mm as standard.

I drove it 300 miles home and loved every minute of it, but being a family man, and having UK holidays with a loaded roof box on top, I feel the ride might be a bit too harsh for the long term!

Do you know if your S-line uses standard SE suspension? Because if they are SE, we could in theory trade springs?

P.s. Nice car by the way! 😎 Here's mine...

I think I prefer your alloys too, might have to change up mine one day.
