Audi A4 B8 Battery Dead can't open the car

Featured Replies

Hi guys, got a problem, couple of days ago my alarm started going for randomly, i didn't had the time to deal with it, so i just disabled the siren so it wonk wake up my neighbours over night, but the hazards lights were still going off all night, and now my battery is dead.

The problem is that the previous owner somehow managed to damage the actual lock on the door handle, so i cant open the car with the key, and it doesn't have enough power to open with the door, does anyone know a way to open the bonnet so i can jump the battery to open the car?

Got an A4 B8 Avant S-line from 2008.

Hello Simon,

Sorry to hear of your plight. In the absence of alternative suggestions:-

If you have breakdown assistance then the answer would be to call them out since they have the ‘tools’ to ‘break’ into your car. If you don’t then it’s likely local locksmiths may be able to offer similar solutions.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
