Newbie, ex TTs Owner

Hi

Without wishing to bore the pants off folks, I dabbled into Audi TT ownership in January purchasing a 1.8 TT Convertible with 32k miles, rapidly upgraded to a Mk3 2016 1.8 TT Convertible with ~ 16 k miles, upgraded yet again to a 2017 TTs , but realised after a period of time the front wheel drive versions suited me far better (vastly less weight). So .....once again Upgraded to a 2010 25k 1.8Tfsi Convertible AND a 2015 2.0 TFsi Coupe , for roughly the same price as my ex-TTs .

Whether this represents a unique experience (or simply wasting my money) is unimportant, car dealers love to see my face appearing through their doors.

I was never previously an advocate of VAG products, until I purchased a relatively cheap Skoda Octavia Scout 1.8 Tfsi and had the 160 bhp engine remapped to 210 bhp - totally transforming the car . Similarly, both of my recently purchased TT have been remapped.

Anyways, good to be here, and will read through all of the back-threads that interest me.
