Rear brake light warning lamp on, brake lights work

Featured Replies

I have a left brake light warning light on the dash, however the brake lights are all working?

How do I reset the warning light?

Hello Nigel,

I would have thought the light should reset itself, but I could be wrong.

You say the brake lights are all working, but have you double checked the intensity of each side to ensure they are exactly the same?

High level light has uniform illumination?

Not unheard of that there might be two bulbs per side, or there could be a high contact resistance at the bulb holders, or within the bulb/s.

Worth a double check, since this warning does not come on without reason.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Sorted the problem , one of the two LH brake lights was faulty, replacement fitted, warning light off. Thanks for the help.
