Had the car three months. The owner before me had just had the cam shafts changed under good will. After a month I had to get the cam tensioner done @ £4k. A week I've had it back and now I've got DO NOT DRIVE steering malfunction.

Audi have now said it's likely going to need a new steering rack. Two days after getting it back after having the engine out, then this... likely bill of £2800

Are these cars crap or is it just mine???

I had a low mileage Black Edition and that had lots of issues! I was so disappointed with it that I handed it back to the dealer after a very short time. Audi's build quality does seem to of gone down hill in recent years

Hey guys, first time here👋 There is Audi a6 c6 (2010) SE model I'm going to check this evening, 2.0 Tdi fwd. can anyone tell me what are the weak points of the car? where to focus more or what questions to ask? I do have VCDS tool to diagnose the car and basic knowledge when it comes to the cars but not enough to keep myself from getting scammed😀 Thank you!!

Hi guys so I have Audi a6 4g c7 2014 2.0 ultra diesel. Long story short my romanian mehanic thought it would be smart to replace this part in pyro fuse with handsaw blade and my battery have cought fire and burned some cables.Now i have replaced all mains battery cables but i'm having hard time finding where does these small cabels goes when I connect my battery I have power on all thing except my control panel and when i try to start my car it just won't do anything so If anyone would help me I

Appears that the system is leaking badly, although the motor is working ok . Does anyone know if this is covered under an Audi used warranty ? ( yes I can hear the laughing ) quoted £ 150 by local dealer ........

Hello All. Can anyone confirm whether Audi have extended the drivetrain warranty in the UK as a result of the issue with coolant leaking within the motor housing, and if so, to what level? Im aware that in the US this is now valid for up to 120K miles. Many thanks.

2012, 1.4 tfsi Im topping up the oil more than i used too...seemingly a common issue with these engines . To start with, its worth replacing the PCV valve apparently. In the absence of Audi UK not having stock i opted for an unbranded aftermarket replacement. On reaching home after my commute this evening, i noticed a flute like noise coming from the valve/hose?! Ive attached a short video clip ... any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I had had my front pads and discs and rear pads replaced last week. (Not by Audi as they wanted over 1k) There's been an intermittent faults of the pre sense not working then into main beam assist fault, followed by lane assist disabled and and adaptive light fault. Daft question but could this be linked? I also took it in for a software update (to Audi) for dodgy door locks Any help is appreciated Cheers Ryan

My coolant expansion bottle keeps emptying after about 6/7 miles, I suspected a leaky bottle cos I'd had that problem before but I changed it and it's still happening. Now I'm looking at the oil and it's not good, can someone confirm head gasket failure? Or another explanation for what's happening? Cheers Duane

Hi, so I’ve had my audi a6 just over a year now cars been brilliant tbh drives perfect, on Saturday I did a 350 mile round trip to London and back in one day no issues at all that’s probably the longest drive I’ve done in the car, today I was driving back from work I got a message on my dash saying gearbox malfunction, I scanned the car and it gave me these three codes P084000 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch A P177500 Hydraulic pressure sensor 1 Adaptation at limit P060B00 Internal C

Hi. I’m a newbie, having just bought my first Audi. A 2025 A5 Sportback and I’m loving it. The only problem I’m having is trying to play music on the B and O system from a memory stick. I checked some things out already and found that the Audi MMI system doesn’t like memory sticks bigger than 32gb so I bought a 32 gb memory stick and formatted it to FAT32. The music is all formatted to M4A so is not DRM protected. It plays in my wife’s car, a Peugeot 2008 GT. Any ideas will be gratefully receive

Last summer while in the heat of southern France, my A5 (Dec-2017, 40,000 mile) developed a front suspension creak. It was always at low speed and particularly when turning left. The car was completely checked on my return, 'shaked, rattled and rolled', but steadfastly refused to creak once, however, everything was checked, levered, put in a shaking plate, and no creaks or movement in joints found, and so while noisy, the car was declared 'good' (safe). So i was changing my crank position sensor on my 2.0TDI in hope it would fix my rough warm start issue that has been progressively getting worse for over a year, the bolt retaining the sensor was very seized and starting to round, i used a hex extraction kit and it removed the bolt with the sensor and snapped part of the crankcase sealing flange with it
