Audi Built In Satnav Query

Hey there guys and gals, 

I am new to owning an Audi and have a query about the satnav system that is in my 2010 A4 Allroad... It is built in and apparently needs media to be inserted. 

From what I gather, reading online in various places, I can go to Audi and they will supply me with the maps on a disc (at a charge I am sure) and then this will work again. 

So I went into my local Audi dealer in Exeter and they said I will need to bring this in and they will charge me £350 for the privilege! that can't be right... surely?!

Any ideas?
