Hid xennon help

Featured Replies

Hi guys. New to Audi and forum.
I have a a4 black edition with xennon headlights , 1 of them have blown. I've removed old bulb and I think it's got the attached ballas . Photo added.
The bulb that was in there is a D3( not D3s),35w 09J dot.
I cannot find these anywhere , only D3s.
Are they the same.
Thanks .

Hello Matty, not really answering your question but i purchased these bulbs https://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-Xenon-Upgrade-Headlights-Replacement/dp/B01J1GHT1G?ref_=s9_apbd_otopr_hd_bw_bKYFeJ&pf_rd_r=6XQ0ZFZTYT1BM5GKZEGN&pf_rd_p=cc185b0f-576f-50aa-894a-a6ea5623729c&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-10&pf_rd_t=BROWSE&pf_rd_i=303690031 in december for my previous car and i was really pleased with them. much brighter than the Philips ones that were fitted, as its best practise to swap both as they get dimmer with age.

Saved me a fair few pennies as the ones on euro and so on were £130 each and even with discount codes they were coming in still over £100.
