Q7 ISOFIX Question...

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have recently bought a Q7 due to the pending increased number of children in my family. I had a question with regards to the Q7 ISOFIX connectors. Our current infant seat easily fits into the ISOFIX but I find in the Q7, they are set quite forward. In my old S-Class, I really had to bury my hands into the leather to get the seat to engage with the connector and whilst it was a pain, it really held the seat in place.

In the Q7, I find that whilst it is incredible easy to get the seat in, without the leather holding it in place - there is a bit of horizontal play. It's almost like the Q7's connectors are too wide and the seat kind of rails up and down them (horizontally) when making sharp turns etc

I tried using some adapters, but they don't fit on the Q 7ISOFIX as they are too loose.

Has anyone encountered the same problem and perhaps has some advice?

thanks in advance,

Azam
