Hey all, bit of a lame question but I want to replace my 205/55R16 with 205/40R R16. I know the 55 is the tyre wall hieght so as i want to go lower in tyre wall there is no chance of tyre rub, but is this possible? Car is a 2001 A4 b6

There was a similar question posted no more than a couple of weeks ago ? 

Worth having a look at that. 

Effectively, to do it properly, the answer is no, unless you increase the wheel diameter.
