Strange rumbling noise on front

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have just noticed whilst driving  when I turn left the right hand side at the front seems to make a deep rumbling sound. Normally at about 30+ mph  I’ve been told in could be the drive shaft. Any ideas? Cheers

Or could be a wheel bearing. Just had mine done for doing same thing on my civic. Good luck

Hello Mathew,

In my book either suggestion would sound logical, but the car actually needs to be a examined to determine what is actually wrong here.

It’s trying to tell you something, so my advice would be to get it inspected without delay at a trusted garage, before something nasty happens.

Any diagnosis on here would simply be guess work - educated guesses - but guesswork nevertheless.

Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Thanks guys I did take it in there’s no way I’d leave anything like that for too long, it was  the wheel bearing.

Glad it wasn't nothing major.
