2.0 tdi non start

Featured Replies

Hi all ,first time on here so go easy on me 😁

i bought an A4 2.0 tdi  CAGA code from one of my customers with the usual hole in cylinder head,i located another head from same engine code engine and fitted it ,it started eventually and ran smoothly, drove it up the road and pulled well with no issues apart from mil light on,switched it off and went to restart it ,it would maybe start once in 15 attempts but would with easy start, code read it and it came up with P001600  cam crank correlation, checked timing twice and its bang on,changed cam sensor but not crank sensor yet ,other codes were P008700 rail pressure low (only 10 bar on cranking ) and P305300 Starter activation, return message term 50 short to ground, open circuit ,intank pump runs under cranking.

any tech support would be greatly received, cheers Darren
