Audi Q7 door lock swap

Hello. Changed door on my 2009 audi q7. The original door has keyless entry and new door doesn't. The mechanic is struggling to remove the lock and handle etc from both new and old doors so the keyless entry can be put into the new door. Any suggestions. Thanks
