hi all, my b8 has an annoying creak from the rear. Can't decide which side. I've had the car jacked up, ive had it on shaker plates, ive had people sat in the back and cannot fund where its coming from, ive sprayed all bushes with pen oil, no change!! Any ideas anyone.

It seems you have gone to a fair amount of effort to try to find this.

One question I would ask is:- Is the creaking less evident in wet weather? 

Re penetrating oil - Um, wouldn’t have done that, due to adverse effects on rubber bushes etc., but....

Spraying with ATF (automatic transmission fluid) is a safer bet, and could be worth a re-try.

Having same issue, it’s only a minor noise when breaking but garage looked and said all was ok
