Clutch and flywheel

Featured Replies

Hello,

Trying to find out when the clutch and flywheel should be replaced on an Audi A4 b8 2013,

Cheers,

Hello Fabian,

As with brakes, tyres etc., clutches are classed as wear items and their longevity will depend on driving style, car’s age and mileage, so there isn’t any schedule to recommend when the components should be renewed.

Any particular reason for asking?

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hello Gareth, I have purchased an A4 2013 black edition with 85k on the clock, I have ensured the dealer did the cam belt and water pump and oil and oil filter and new MOT by they said they couldn't do the flywheel or clutch,

Kind Regards

Why would you expect them to Fabian?

As I said, the clutch assembly is a wear item and unlike the cambelt  assembly, does not have a scheduled mileage/ time change.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
