Turbo Oil Feed

Featured Replies

Any tips on removing the nut for the oil feed on my turbo without twisting the pipe?

  • 2 years later...

You’ll need to soak it with WD40 and leave it for 15mins or so. Then go steady with a 17mm Spanner 🔧 on the top half of the connecting nut 🔩 slowly applying pressure anti-clockwise 🔄. It will come off without bending the pipe but the pipe is very solid and difficult to bend really.

Just be extra careful on the other end not to rush and go in to heavy handed as it’s commonly done to snap off the Oil pressure Sensor which sits just under 2 inches away to the right..
