New Owner - MMI/Bluetooth Issue

Hi Guys,

I took delivery of an A1 Sportback a week ago but had a hire car until midweek, so I've only been in it a few times. Each time, I have attempted to get the Bluetooth to connect with my phone but when I go into the telephone menu and select Bluetooth, all of the options on the screen are faded out and I can't select any of them. Before I bought the car the dealer increased the price, citing a replacement MMI as the reason, due to the original being faulty. It seems to me that this one has a fault if there's no connectivity or is there a code that the dealer needed to input to get it working? The radio/CD works fine and I can select everything apart from Bluetooth. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello Amanda,

Sorry to hear of this issue. It would seem irrelevant whether anyone else has had issues, and your best course of action would be to return to the supplying dealer and get them to resolve the issue. Personally I would not delay this any longer than is essential, since you have already owned the car for a week.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
