My SatNav has moved to Wales

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is an old chestnut but the satnav in my 2015 A4 Allroad has gone haywire and the map shows I'm somewhere in South Wales not in Oxfordshire where I live. Is this an easy fix or do I need an auto electrician?

Thanks

This happened to me my aerial fin had let water in and caused the sender unit to keep showing I was 200 miles away. Rather than pay Audi a £200 fee I had a local car sat nav shop fit the new part behind the glove box. You can buy the replacement part much cheaper on eBay and it works exactly the same, The fin is bolted on the inside and you have to remove the liner etc. So decided on the easier option.

Thanks and apologies for the tardy response. It seems to have corrected itself but I also believe there is no such thing as one off so I will get a local sat nav guy to look at it. I believe this is rather a common Audi problem.
