A5 Cabriolet Faulty Roof - Repair Needed

When I try to open the roof only the storage flap lifts and back portion of roof opens, the front part does not open at all and I need to manually close it. Fault light now on and message 'soft top not secure' also shows.

Does anyone know any companies in Glasgow or surrounding that could carry out a repair? I have been told by my local independent Audi mechanic that he doesn't do soft tops and that to take it back to the Audi dealership will cost a small fortune.

it would be worth getting this scanned with VCDS / diag first - it could be something simple! - anyone local that you know of whom has it?

Hi all Looking for some advice on changing out the rather firm and jittery S-line suspension on my 2024 A3 8Y (black edition) to something more comfortable and softer (possibly akin to standard SE suspension or equivalent). Any suggestions on what I should be considering and looking at for daily driving only please? I’ve heard Bilstein (B4s ?) and maybe the eibach pro springs would help make things more comfortable? thoughts and suggestions much appreciated. Any real world experience of changing

New to Forum. I’ve owned 5 SQ5 (all new or ex demo) since 2016. 4 V6 diesels which I honestly think are an incredible car and my current car the new V6 petrol version. The quality of this new model has definitely taken a dive but my main gripe is the awful transmission whine from 60mph upwards. It’s like driving an old Landrover. The dealer maintains he can’t hear it. Everyone who rides in the car or drives it spots it straight away. Surely my car is not the only one with this problem? Any thoug

Hi, following on from my previous thread, I have seen another car that I was interested in: https://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/details/used/audi/a5/automatic-petrol-white-coupe/06ce9494-f94d-f111-8fdd-000d3a874790/ When I enquired with the dealer, they said there is only one stamp in the book from February of this year, and no history at all in the Audi database. So there is only evidence of 1 service in almost 10 years. I am starting to get a bit !Removed! off with this actually, and it's real

Good to join the Forum. A mouse got into my wife's beloved light blue 2004 A4 TDI Sport Auto Convertible (she has had it from new) and has chewed through the aerial cable under the back seat. and damaged it in two other sections. What connectors are recommended to re-join it and are they easily sourced - the garage made out I might need to go back to the loom - surely not? The radio is the original Bose Symphony. Hi group. I own a Audi A6 C8 2024 40 TFSI with nearly 40k ml. Does anyone have or had a similar issue? On a cold start the car is reving up to 1100rpm(which is normal), but when the revs dropped to 900rpm is doing an rattling noise. Is this normal? Audi dealership said is normal. 20260603_050835.mp4

I've been seeing more and more posts across FB and multiple forums about people having the alternator failure related to the 48v mild hybrid system and wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and how their experience has been. I know in USA they have announced a TSB with an extended warranty for 7 years but I am trying to get more info from Audi UK but not getting anywhere. Hello everyone, Wondering if anyone can help me. A few weeks ago my EPC light came on and immediately went into limp mode and started jumping when driving at 5mph. After a few hours I came back to the car and it was fine so I drove it to my storage unit. I came back the next day and when starting it the EPC light and EML light were illuminated and the idle was quite rough. Hi. Just arranged a mini road trip to the West Country. Day 1. Travel To St Austell to stay overnight in 16th century pub. Stopping at Exeter Services for a recharge. Day 2.
