Problem with driver door lock - comfort access

New to the forum, so if discussed elsewhere, please point me in the right direction....

My A8 has started to have some niggles, incl driver door not opening when next to the door with key, nor whilst pressing the key fob.

All other doors work fine. Can sometimes hear a bit of a whirring noise from the door. 

Any ideas how to solve/repair,
