My Audi A3 was repaired last year by an Audi approved workshop and a metal bracket is now visible beneath the front grill under the Audi rings. Please can anyone explain why this would be the case? Thanks.

Its almost impossible to visualise what concerns you without viewing the car. 

If this were mine, I would be returning to the repairer, armed with a photo of the same model year, which does not show the offending bracket. They will be duty bound to sort this to your satisfaction. 

Perhaps you can let us know how you get on.
