Juddering when pulling off

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've noticed a juddering when pulling off in 1st (and a little when changing into 2nd) gear.

It only seems to happen once the car has been running for a good half hour/hour ish and it doesn't seem to matter whether it's a boiling hot day or freezing outside.

Anybody have any ideas what this might be?

On a related/unrelated note, the engine management light comes on randomly sometimes when the car starts up and stays on for the length of the journey. But if I turn the car off and on again then the light could be off... It seems really random.

I've had it checked with my last service and Audi said they couldn't find any issues why it could be...

Any possible answers for this aswell? 🙂

Thanks in advance guys!

Possibly a worn DMF mine does it sometimes, the only way to find out what the lights about is to get a code reader OBD Eleven or Vcds and plug it in when you end the journey that will tell you what the fault is thats throwing the light on.

Regards Steve.
