Wheels swap front to back etc.

Featured Replies

I have an A4 Sline 2017. And wish to swap wheels front to rear etc. To even up the tyre wear. My local tyre fitter has queried whether the car is, and l quote ‘Wheel Specific’ which means it could upset the sensors fitted. Tyre pressure and whatever else and can’t be done.I’m doubtful about that. What say you members.

On all the cars I have owned, I've got the garage to move tyres around to even the wear, not the whole wheels, just the tyres.   Never been an issue....

Hi,

You will be able to swap the wheels front to back no problem,

i am now on my 12th audi a4, & over the years have swapped the wheels round

more times than i can remember. the only thing that you will probably have to do,

is to reset the tyre pressure values on the computer, after you swap the wheels, give the car

a run for 2/3 miles, & see if anything comes up requiring you to do this,

hope this helps.

Brian.
