A3 Suspension

Featured Replies

I am thinking of buying a new A3.

Can someone tell me if the suspension on the A3 "Sport" is the same as the "Technic" or the same as the "S-Line".

The Audi Configurator suggests there is no difference between the "Sport" and the "Technic" suspension. (But the "S-Line" is lower and harder).

The main dealer here says the "Sport" suspension is the same as the "S-Line".

Who is correct?

I don't want low, hard suspension.

Getting a test drive in a specific model is virtually impossible these days!!

Hi the only difference between the S-Line and the Sport is the springs on the S-Line are shorter and stiffer except in the case of my daughters Q3 S-Line where the spring and shocks are the same as the standard Q3 its just the interior and badging on the outside are different, the shock absorbers nowadays are designed to operate with standard and factory lowered suspension, its all smoke and mirrors.

Steve.
