charles.mcleod
Hi Guys I have a lovely 2007 A4 Convertible however it seems like the roof is not 100% wind proof ie leaks around windows etc ..wind noise....and in the cold weather there is a huge amount of condensation on the interior windows ( especially the rear roof window ) in the mornings. Can the roof be adjusted to fit better. The car was standing for approx 4 years when the previous owner became very ill. Thanks Charles
Steve Q
Hey Charles, I know the rear window stitching and glue can come unstuck letting water in. Also it's worth checking there are no gaps between the windows a d roof. Might be worth looking at changing any rubber seals as I suspect they'll start to become brittle due to age. It always seemed to come from behind me. It was a fiddly job but i solved it by sourcing some second hand window seals for the rear windows and changing them. I have to admit it was a tricky job and took me ages and does involve manually opening the roof and soft top compartment to get access
