2011 A6 Passenger Door Lock

Featured Replies

Im trying to find the correct door lock for my car to change it out.

The part number I have stated on the original lock is JA6-4F2837015D.

Every time I search the part number it shows a lock with a 8 or 9 pin electrical connector. The lock I have removed from my car has a 6 pin.

Has anyone came across this before. Any help would be great. I have attached pictures of the original lock.

As a matter of interest Sean, do the other (secondhand?) locks you are finding have the same part number except for the last letter?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Yes, The other locks im finding has the same part number except the last number.

Found a few 2nd hand ones in Europe that is the same lock but everything in the UK seems to be wrong.

I was having trouble with my front door locks not locking or unlocking, I used to have to open the windows with the key fob to unlock the doors from the inside.

I purchased a new 110Ah battery and all is ok now.
