Hi all 

 

Looking for a bit of advice  I would like to upgrade to a 10.25 or 12 inch MMI screen ,have any of you guys done this  my car did not have apple car play so is fitted with a Bavarian auto car play kit. do any of these on Ali Express work ??

Would I need to remove the Bavarian kit or could just get the screen

Do these work with iPhone ?

Are the graphics much better than the standard MMI CarPlay ?

any help appreciated

I fitted an AliExpress 8 inch version to my 2016 A6 quite easy to fit bits of dash to come off and glovebox out.  But and it's a big but the Android software is rubbish.   It's supposedly android 10 but it's slow and clunky.  Every time you leave the car it turns off so it's reboots when you get in.  So wait for a reboot then you gotta select a song or playlist again.  No resume function at all!

Thank you for your input    ,I am very interested but dubious at the same time  of the speed of the processors
