Drive System Malfunction Q5

Featured Replies

I have a 2019 Audi Q5 with just over 50K miles on it.  Over the past 10 days, the System Malfunction, Call service light has come on inconsistently upon starting the ignition.  The light will stay on unless I turn the engine off and restart.  I took it to service at Audi, and after 3 hours of diagnostics, they have been unable to determine what's causing this error.  They are suggesting that I replace the Turbo part on the car for $3,000, but cannot tell me that that is the cause of the problem.  It's their "best guess."  I am very frustrated at this stage.  Has anyone else experienced this error?  Audi says the car is throwing "inconclusive signals when they run diagnostics, and when they follow the protocols for these inconclusive errors, the car tests fine.  I don't even know if I should be driving it.  Thanks for the help.

Howdy!

I just had this same issue occur after reaching 53000 miles (2019 Q5) . Has this issue continued or spiraled into more issues? Did they ever find a fix? It only started after recently going in to get service. I had no issues before but now it pops up upon ignition.

Thanks
