I seem to have an issue with the reading lights front and back

none of them work and when I took them out they were sparking !

never seen ones like this before

It seems to have left behind a round metal tube

are they the same in the rear ?

me thinks previous owner did one of those ultra bright kit upgrade and it has buggered it up

those are led items, most certainly not factory fit.

Another area that gets changed and in a lot of cases it goes wrong big time with over heating and shorting out.

you need to get anything thats left in the bulb holders out and start a fresh, check the fuse that covers them too as it can get swapped for something with a higher load and that is not good.

Cheers guess the fuses are in the left hand side like Porsche in the dash ?

dashboard , drivers side , at the end.

cover pings off with access to main fuses., drivers door has to be open to get access.

Thanks Rob. I will pick out those broken bulbs and replace them with the correct ones and check this hasnt been done in the rear lights. and check the fuse just in case.

I made the mistake of doing something similar on our porsche cayenne in a moment of madness , replaced all the factory bulbs with nice shiny LED ones and loads of flickered and blew so back to factory they went.

You live and learn 🙂
