Electric windows issue. Any one with a VAG-COM in Bristol?

Featured Replies

Hi guys new to this site and finding the search function to not be very useful but that might just be me so any help really appreciated.

My drivers side window stopped working the other day after being a bit temperamental. I tried to plug it in to the passengers side to check if it was the motor or switch and it did not work and now the pasingers side window has stopped working as well.

I have tried to reasurch the problem and fear I may have an issue with my comfort control module. I really need to get it scanned with a VAG-COM or VCDS. Does any one have one in Bristol I can pay you to scan my car with or any useful information on what to check first.

Many thanks

Ronan

2003 B6 A4 1.9tdi with front electric windows. My central locking down also doesn't work but I'm putting that down to the fact that I have removed the motors and believe they have some sort of control modules attacked to them.
