Driver's side Mirror Tilt on reverse gear

Featured Replies

Hello,

The driver’s side mirror does not tilt when reverse gear is selected but the passenger side works fine.

Someone said to me this is standard operation across the entire audi range. Is this correct?

If the car is still under warranty and if its something to do with the motor or any debris is it still covered under the warranty?

Many thanks

AFAIK it is only the nearside mirror that tilts so as to give you sight of the kerbside when parking. Assumption is you will be parking on the passenger side, which is mandatory in many countries.
