Crabbers29 Posted February 5, 2023 Share Posted February 5, 2023 I've got a 66 plate A4 avant. Recently the air con is showing as off when the engine is on. When I try to change it to on or eco they are greyed out and I can't select them. I can select eco or on when just the ignition is on but I'm not sure if it's actually working. Crabbers29 Posted May 21, 2023 Author Share Posted May 21, 2023 The condenser had corroded and leaked causing it to stop working. Audi dealer and Halfords were useless. I got an independent Air con specialist to diagnose it and do the work. Cost around £500 for diagnosis, fit new condenser and re-gas.
