Boot lid not opening

Ok so yesterday I discovered the boot lid wouldn’t open , with none of the keys nor the handle not the button on the drivers door , have checked rear lid fuses and even garage door fuses but all seem ok . 
is there a manual way to open the boot somehow. ? 
Also have looked at all the fuse diagrams and there is one that says tailgate , have a couple of pics , but I csnt work out where it’s situated , and also do I need the boot open to access it.  

 

Much help would be appreciated as I’m lost with what to do now , many thanks
