tech diagrams for complete exhaust system

Featured Replies

Hi. I seem to be posting a lot here, but fact is I'm giving the old girl a bit of love, having neglected her for well over a year! When you get to that age, you need a bit of care, right?

Next: I've isolated an annoying rattle. I suspected it was an exhaust clamp somewhere as the previous MOT had mentioned a corroded exhaust clamp in the advisories. Anyway, I've temporarily bodged it with a couple of jubilee clips.

The rattle comes from a disintegrated support clamp. It's on the right side of the vehicle, nestled above the anti roll bar. Quite tricky to get to. Anyway, I want to know if I have to replace the whole pipe section, can I buy just the clamp, or perhaps i could weld it up for a permanent fix.

Have been looking for some helpful tech diagram with exploded view and part numbers. Wonder if anyone has one, or can link me to it.

It's a 2010 2.0 TDI A6 Avant, Manual.
