I'm looking for a set of running bars/side steps for my Q5 2021 and fitting in Essex area?

Hi Gareth, i'm looking for new or nearly new if possible but thanks i'll take a look at Ali Express

cheers

Kevin

Thanks Kevin,

I guess genuine Audi prices are daft. Where else to find new ones - apart from the likes of Ali Express possibly??
Incase it helps, I’ve bought ‘Accessories’ for a non-Audi via. them (Chinese), and if they have been packaged in the main dealer packaging, I wouldn’t have known the difference - except for the price!
Side step quality??
Perhaps you could let us know how you get on Kevin.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth, Audi wanted £1200 + fitting costs....

I have looked at Direct 4x4 and good prices but the install docs talk about over size bolts that need angle grinding off, brackets that need bending around, then you need to cut the underneath panels about, didn't feel me with confidence, especially as fitting by a garage is per hour and it doesn't seem like these are a straightforward install?
