Coolant Pump B

Featured Replies

Hi All had the EML came on last week Coolant pump B open circuit. Changed the pump with new pump from Audi and cleared EML after 2 days the same fault has come back. The pump is running for a short while after engine has shut off as it should.  Has anyone got any more ideas while the fault may have returned?

Hi it could well be a bad wiring problem in the plug as they are in a pretty bad area and the original alloy units normally corrode, check for breakages inside the insulation if you strip the wire back and the inner copper is brown thats your problem.

Steve.
