Knocking noise

Evening. I have noticed when I reverse and stop I get a single knock from somewhere around the front. Not sure if its from the brakes or steering. Doesnt happen all the time but when on a slope it does. Any ideas where to look first?

Hello Karim, 

Could be an engine mounting, but I’m sure you will understand that can only be a guess. 
I would suggest you get the car on a ramp and get it thoroughly inspected, to source the wear that’s causing the knock.
