S3 8v multiple systems faulty

Featured Replies

Hello to all the forum members!

I have a 2014 Audi S3 Saloon with a manual gearbox. Unfortunately the clutch was going on it following a stage 1 map so I decided to fit a new factory DMF, a Sachs Performance organic clutch, Sachs upgraded pressure plate and a new release bearing.

Unfortunately, following the completion of the clutch replacement, the car is throwing up multiple error codes which relate to wiper blades, magride system, headlight levelling, and power steering system. I have checked all the fuses and they all seem to be ok. I did try to also reset the battery a few times but the fault still persists. We did check all the electrical connections and they all seem to be fitted correctly.

I will most likely hand the car over to a car electrician I know but if anyone has any ideas what the fault could be it would be much appreciated!

Thanks for your reply Gareth, I did replace my battery about 18 months ago so I don't think this would cause the issue but I will check it

Thanks Adam, yes I understand, but well worth eliminating. I would also get the alternator output checked at the same time.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
