Front left residual valve removal

Hi there. 

Just located a small leak from the front left residual valve. I purchased one from Ebay which was an Audi part and to fit it to the suspension leg requires a 10mm spanner. However the old one, still on the car, doesn't appear to have a nut head to take a socket or spanner to remove. Maybe I'm not looking close enough. 

Any help or advice much appreciated.
