AMI cable and Ipod Nano issues

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just got a 2016 Q3, bought a AMI cable with a USB connector and plugged my iPod nano 7th Gen into it, the music plays but I get a folder list with four letters and not a album/track list as I'm used to (I had a BMW before)
My phone connects ok via Bluetooth for Spotify, but sometimes its just nice to have the iPod connected. But not being able to see any info makes it unusable
Any advice? I feel like I'm missing some thing obvious

thanks in advance
