Passenger seat airbag wiring

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Our dog managed to chew through some of the wiring under the front passenger seat which connects to the side airbag of our 2020 Audi A1 25 TFSI Sportback.  The wiring appears to go underneath the carpet, but I'm not sure whether there is a plug just under the carpet which can be used to disconnect the broken cable and swap it over, or whether the cabling goes down into the dashboard / engine area.  If anyone knows how easy the cables are to replace, that would be great.  I have an appointment with Audi later this week, but just wondering if they're likely to say it's a big job...

Thanks very much,

Henry
