Audi TT MK3 Roadster Glove Box stuck shut

Featured Replies

The glove box on my 2016 MK3 Roadster has stuck shut as if it were locked - its not locked - any ideas anyone ?

Welcome Terry and sorry to hear of your issue.
There are a couple of You Tubes on this, together with other references found on a Google search.
Worth a look pending other responses.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth

Thanks for the YT suggestion. I have seen the ones you refer to but they seem to involve crudely prising out the latch, freeing the latch from an internal bolt (which I think can only be operated by the central locking system) then glueing it all back together. You would think (hope) there would be another way.

Incidentally do you (or somebody) know if the central locking operates on the glove box - unfortunately my owners manual is currently locked in the glove box

Thanks and regards

Terry
